The municipal area of Garda is not very extensive, but has a considerable wealth of landscapes, historical memories, and artistic heritage: from the Mediterranean forests to the olive groves, from the azure waters of the Gulf to the charm of Punta San Vigilio, from the memories of Venice’s Doge to the memories of the Roman Emperor.

The City is situated on the border between the vineyard in the south, and the olive tree in the north.

For that reason the fish, oil and wine are the basis of the local cuisine.
